A 30 years old gentleman who wanted to widen his narrow palate to improve his breathing and self confidence. For years, he had been informed that his narrow palate could only be improved or treated by jaw surgery. He was successfully treated with a maxillary skeletal expansion (MSE) device and upper and lower customized aligners. The total treatment duration was just over 18 months. He was fitted with upper and lower removable retainers. The braces were removed just in time for his wedding enabling him to smile amazingly for his wedding day photos!!
