Treatments to transform your self-confidence with a stunning beautiful smile

As we live our lives, we smile, laugh, and frown to convey our emotions, our highs, and our lows. We wear our experiences on our faces, your smile is absolutely essential to the image you present to the world and as your individuality. Lines and wrinkles in the skin are a normal aging process that affects everybody. Therefore it is hard to overstate the positive effect a beautiful smile can have in your life. Going far beyond realigning and straightening your teeth, Mary can help you keep your youthful skin to match your perfect teeth every time you glance into the mirror.

What is Botox? How will it affect my face?

Many are turning to Botox to reduce moderate to severe frown lines between
their brows and to treat crow's feet. Using a tiny needle, this quick, effective and
safe medication is placed into the muscles that cause frown lines and crow’s feet. It safely reduces frown lines and crow’s feet by temporarily relaxing the facial muscle contractions in these trouble areas. Botox is an FDA-approved medicine injected into muscles to block the reception of nerve impulses and relax those muscles that create facial wrinkles. Botox has been used for many years in the medical fields. It is a non-surgical and non-invasive procedure, Botox can also target jaw muscles to reduce bruxism and clenching, alleviating headaches and migraine pain. This makes Botox incredibly popular as both a cosmetic and functional solution for facial wrinkles and muscular concerns.

Because Botox is minimally invasive, patients can resume normal daily activities immediately following the procedure which usually takes about fifteen minutes. A topical anesthesia can be used if necessary. Results may vary, but usually can last between 3 to 5 months depending on the targeted facial muscles.

Following the procedure, it is not uncommon to experience some minor swelling, redness or bruising around the targeted site. Patients can take mild pain relief medications such as paracetamol and/or use ice packs to help reduce swelling and relieve any discomfort. Other side effects include drooping and swelling of the eyelids, headache, neck pain and dry mouth.

How are Botox and Juvederm different? Can I use Juvederm and Botox in combination?

Botox and Juvederm target different areas of your face, and enhance skin in
entirely different ways. While Botox works to halt muscles from contracting,
Juvederm is a smooth filler that plumps skin and rounds out the area around your mouth. Juvederm replaces natural substances that diminish in facial skin as we age. The gel is injected directly into areas around your mouth and nose, erasing smile lines and facial folds. A Juvederm treatment only takes about thirty minutes, you will see immediate results, experience minimal recovery time, and your smoother skin may last a year.

If you are looking to volumise and increase the fullness of your lips, you can benefit from just a few treatments of Juvederm lip injections. Aging can also affect lip volume and with the proper amount, Juvederm lip injections can bring back that natural and youthful full lips appearance.
